Los Angeles, May 7, 2015 – Lawless Entertainment is delighted to announce their appointment as worldwide representative for Messy Anne, a book-based property targeted to preschool children created by Daniel Barnhart and John Uhrich.

Messy Anne is a charming story about a little girl named Melissa Anne, whom everyone simply calls Messy - because Messy makes messes.

Messy Anne is a girl with things on her mind – usually the next thing. Despite her best intentions, Messy’s imagination inevitably gets her into one wild predicament after another, and Messy is left face to face with the consequences of her actions.

These consequences inevitably take the form of The Monstrosity – Messy’s nemesis, an imagined physical externalization of her mess. Never complaining, Messy rolls up her sleeves to do battle!

Lawless Entertainment is handling all licensing and merchandising worldwide including publishing as well as seeking co-production partners for the project.

“I created Messy to provide a unique appeal and universal character that boys and girls can learn from and identify with,” says creator Daniel Barnhart. “And I can’t conceive of a better partner to ensure her success than Lawless.”
