The Los Angeles-based agency will represent Poby’s Adventures, a children’s property

Los Angeles, April 20, 2015 – Lawless Entertainment is delighted to announce their appointment as worldwide representative for Poby’s Adventures, a beautiful book-based property targeted to preschool children that features Poby, a young blue orphan lamb.

One night, the stars created a magical blue lamb to cheer up a very sad moon, the same kind of sadness orphaned children feel in losing their parents that is often ignored in many orphanages. The stars called him Poby and his birth worked to cheer up the moon, who liked Poby so much that he adopted him as his son. But, all was not so smooth, since a lamb on the moon does not have grass available to eat! To manage this hurdle, each night, the moon descended to the earth’s highest mountain cliff with Poby, dropped him off to find food, and elicited a promise that his son must return to that very spot before the sun rises – or else the moon will have to leave without Poby.

Lawless Entertainment is handling all licensing and merchandising worldwide including publishing as well as seeking co-production partners for the project.

“My Poby character simply reflects the spirit of humanity in our children,” says Heiko Kiera, creator of Poby’s Adventures. “His positive attitude and highly entertaining personality is a symbol for hope and optimism, in particular to those unfortunate youngsters in our society who have lost their mothers, fathers or even both parents during the early days of their childhood.”

About Poby’s Adventures
Poby is a fictional character for children created by Heiko Kiera when he was just 14 years old while living in an orphanage in former East Germany. He was a teenager, one of the older children, and it became his responsibility to read weekly bedtime stories to the young ones. He put aside the traditional Grimm’s fairy tales, wanting to give the children a story that the little orphans could relate to-a more special story than the old fairytales. So he invented his own character-a magical blue lamb made from stars, and he named him Poby.
