Nightshade by Michael Scott

Concept
Voice of an Angel – Heart of the Beast

Nightshade is the story of Mac, a singer who has a cult following on Facebook, Google+, MySpace and Twitter, and has just broken through on the Indie charts, poised to break through into the mainstream.  She sometimes shows up on late night TV, a slender, shorthaired girl lost behind a guitar, usually alone, occasionally with a drummer or keyboard player.  And while her material might not be original – she does covers – her smoky voice gives the classics a timeless interpretation.

She is also a Gyrl, a werewolf warrior of the Clan Alta, one of the most ancient Were Clans in the Celtic World, able to trace its lineage back to the First Race, who ruled the world before Man.  This series will follow Mac as she travels through Europe performing, while chasing the Beast Master, a renegade Were-Lord who is bent on enslaving the human race.

And if she fails, the human race is doomed.
