Los Angeles, CA, September 28, 2017 — Lawless Entertainment is delighted to announce that Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has signed on to narrate one of the fairytales for GivingTales, the celebrity storytelling app for children and adults alike. Coster-Waldau will narrate The Steadfast Tin Soldier in both Danish and English, for use in both territories, as well as the worldwide marketplace.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is a Danish actor, producer and screenwriter known for his role as Jaime Lannister on Game of Thrones.

Launched by Sir Roger Moore and friends in 2015, the beautifully illustrated GivingTales educational storytelling app was developed to entertain children, help improve their reading and learning skills as well as raise donations for children in need around the world.

With fairy tales from Hans Christian Andersen, children can read along and learn the core values these incredible tales teach such as bravery, selflessness, and compassion.

British stars of Film & Television including Sir Roger Moore, KBE; Dame Joan Collins, DBE; Ewan McGregor, OBE; David Walliams; Joanna Lumley, OBE; Stephen Fry; Sir Michael Caine, CBE; Charlotte Rampling, OBE; and Paul McKenna, have come together to narrate this series of beautifully animated fairy tales, exclusively for GivingTales.

The GivingTales app is currently available on Apple, Google Play, Windows and Amazon app stores as well as in audio and video versions. There are currently ten stories available for in-app purchase at $1.99 each. The app also features educational mini-games.

There is also a version available that features Chinese celebrities including Tao Hong, Song Yingjie, Liu Xiao Ling Tong, Han Qiaosheng, Hua Shao and Wang Han.

The GivingTales app offers subtitles in English, French, Spanish, Italian and German, with more languages to follow.

“I am from Denmark and Hans Christian Andersen is part of our culture and I am very proud being part of this project. The Steadfast Tin Soldier is a beautiful love story which we can all relate to,” says Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

“GivingTales is a truly unique property,” says Cathy Malatesta, President of Lawless Entertainment. “Adding Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will further expand the reach of these beautiful fairy tales – and the funds raised for children in need worldwide.”
